2025 Reflections - I Belong!

Calling ALL creators!

The Rutledge PTA is proud to announce the return of the 2025-26 Reflections Art Program!   This year's theme is “I Belong!”

If you or someone in your household is a member of the Rutledge PTA, you are eligible to participate!  Not a PTA member, not a problem.  Just join the PTA before the program deadline, October 29.

And don't worry, joining the PTA does not require a commitment to volunteer or attend meetings.  It does however help the PTA continue providing for our amazing students and dedicated teachers and allows you to participate in this program.  A win-win!

About Reflections

Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for over 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.

With positive recognition as the focus of this program, rather than competition, students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story.

Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest nationwide programs of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.

 How to Participate

  1. Someone in your household must be a member or join the PTA by October 29, 2025.
  2. Reflect on what the theme, “I Belong”, means to you!
  3. Create an original work under your desired category. All entries are electronic (i.e. if you create a physical Visual Art piece, you may scan or take picture of the piece and submit it). Please read the rules for the categories you choose to enter. You may participate in multiple categories and have multiple submissions in a category!
  4. Fill out this entry form and submit the artwork to your Reflections chair via the Rutledge Reflections Submission Form. Due to restrictions on sharing personal information outside of the district, students will not be able to submit from their Leander ISD accounts. Please use a non-district account or ask a parent/guardian to submit for you. Deadline is October 29, 2025.
  5. Be recognized! YAY!
